Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline
- Must be currently enrolled in school or graduated within the last 12 months
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C/C++ and/or Java preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform)
- Knowledge of Perl or other scripting languages a plus
- Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
- Experience in optimization mathematics (linear programming, nonlinear optimization)
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
- Previous technical internship(s) preferred
- Graduate degree a plus
The Data Extraction and Development Analyst will be primarily responsible for developing tools to extract, manage and analyze data from publically available sources. This would take the form of screen scraping publicl facing websites for data and processing that data into a usable form for our analysts. We are still running as a lean start up (the check just cleared from our investors) and it is expected that team members will lend a hand on ad-hoc hand on projects as they come up.

Pay2Park is a new, GW student founded, not-for-profit organization (status pending) targeted toward improving alternative transportation infrastructures. The program acts as a driving disincentive program that partners with environmentally-conscious businesses that have their
own parking structures. Pay2Park installs simple, automated toll-collection units at the exits of these structures and collects a nominal fee that is donated to fund local projects like bike lanes, road-dieting, free bike service stations, etc.
