Program Admission Requirements

To be considered for the Master's degrees and the graduate certificate in computer security and information assurance program, offered in partnership with Booz Allen Hamilton, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a Booz Allen Hamilton employee
  • Have a Bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 for the last 60 hours of course work
  • Have had courses in computer science using a structured language, discrete structures, data structures, and computer architecture.
  • Students without a formal background in computer science are encouraged to apply but may be required to take CSCI 6010 and/or CSCI 6011 depending on background if admitted to the program.  These courses apply toward the 10 course MS degree requirement.
  • If you do not meet this requirement, you may still apply and receive provisional admission.

Students may be admitted to the program at any semester starting with Spring 2020. To apply to the program, please complete the online application and Statement of Purpose and submit the application fee with the online application. Please type on the application that you are a Booz Allen Hamilton employee.  Please apply using your Booz Allen Hamilton email address and indicate your interest in this program in your Statement of Purpose.

Unofficial transcripts may be submitted for the admissions process. You do not need to submit a GRE exam.
