Amrinder Arora

Dr. Amrinder Arora’s research interests are in the fields of algorithms and artificial intelligence.  Dr. Arora teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in computer science, mostly related to design and analysis of computer algorithms and artificial intelligence.  He is the author of two books: “Design and Analysis of Algorithms” and “101 Algorithms Questions You Must Know”.  As part of his prior industry experience, Dr. Arora led the technical design for the US FDA’s PREDICT system, which currently screens more than 16 million imports a year.  The transportation management system designed by Dr. Arora for the port of Aqaba in Jordan won the award for most innovative product given by the Intelligent Transportation Society of America.
