Dr. Wood receives $532K NSF grant

Dr. Timothy Wood is principal investigator on a three-year, $532,000 grant from the National Science Foundation’s SaTC (Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace) program to support work on “Fine Grained Protection for Scalable Single-use Services.”  The project is a collaborative effort with researchers at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  GW's share of the funding is $266,000.  The project will explore how to provide scalable security services to networked services at the OS and virtualization layers.
