Archived - Support SEAS
Under the leadership of Dean David Dolling, the GW School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) is undergoing an extraordinary transformation. In five years, SEAS has hired more than 40 new faculty members. Most of them graduated from top engineering and computer science programs in the U.S. and around the world, and they represent one-third of our entire faculty. At the same time, SEAS is expanding research and study abroad opportunities for students. And in January 2015, SEAS moved into a new 500,000 square foot Science and Engineering Hall, with its state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities.
SEAS is well-positioned to achieve its ambitious goals, but your support is critical. Here are some key areas where you can make a significant impact:
SEAS Power and Promise Campaign: Undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships are critical to helping SEAS attract the best and brightest students in engineering and computer science. Scholarships and fellowships ensure that a SEAS education remains accessible to all qualified students.
Faculty and research support: Recruiting a world-class faculty and providing the resources for cutting-edge research will position SEAS to become a leader in teaching, discovery, and technology commercialization.
Dean’s Fund: The Dean’s Fund helps support everything from internships, study abroad, and conference participation for our students to faculty and student research.
Your philanthropic support provides the resources today to help us prepare the engineers of tomorrow. Whether you support the Dean’s Fund, endow a scholarship, or support the SEH, each and every contribution to SEAS makes a difference. Now more than ever, your generosity is essential to sustaining and enhancing engineering education at GW.
Please join fellow supporters in making a difference for the GW School of Engineering and Applied Science.
