American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM)

The mission of the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) is to communicate the engineering management philosophy while continuously improving the quality of the Engineering Management Technology degree. Engineering management is the art and science of planning, organizing, allocating resources, and directing and controlling activities which have a technological component. It integrates technical engineering and project systems management skills to prepare students to lead people, projects and teams.

Professional Examinations

The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is typically the first step in the process leading to the P.E. (Professional Engineer) license. It is designed for students who are close to finishing an undergraduate engineering degree. The exam lasts 8 hours and is administered in April and October.
