Prospective Students

Our Academic Programs

The Department of Computer Science offers an ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science. Within the two degree programs, students have the opportunity to tailor the curriculum to suit their interests and needs through a variety of technical tracks and electives.  The undergraduate degree program culminates in a three-semester capstone design experience.  In our department, we teach fundamentals, design methods, tools, and applications. We prepare students for some exciting and rewarding careers in medicine, films, business, government, engineering, and of course IT.

Who We Are

Students in the Computer Science Department have the opportunity to study computer science in small classes, to conduct research with the department’s faculty, to be involved in a range of computer science-related activities, and to form close bonds with their classmates, both in the department and across the School of Engineering and Applied Science.  Take a look at the links below to find out more about who we are and what we’re accomplishing.
